Animated film is launched to award child-led project in Coimbatore

The Coimbatore Peace Festival, organized by Shanti Ashram in India, was the scenario for the premiere of the animated short film about one of the winners of the Learning to Live Together Global Awards. The festival was held in August 2019 and it was a unique opportunity for hundreds of people to get to know more about the inspiring story of Arun.

Interfaith Council Annual Meeting: Moving the Ethics Education for Children Agenda Forward

As in previous years, the Interfaith Council on Ethics Education for Children held its annual meeting to help strategize and provide recommendations for the next period. This time, the meeting took place from 10 to 14 August 2017 in Coimbatore, India where the headquarters of Shanti Ashram, a long-time partner of Arigatou International Geneva, is located.

At the meeting, members of the Interfaith Council had the opportunity to review achievements and challenges of Arigatou International Geneva during the last year, reflect on relevant topics regarding Ethics Education for Children, and exchange views on the strategic plan for the next three years, providing technical recommendations as well as rationale-related inputs.

Intergenerational Dialogue on Global Citizenship: Enhancing Youth Participation in India

“Our responsibility should be to help raising the voices of young people, for their narrative to become the one that changes the world today” said Mrs. María Lucía Uribe, Director of Arigatou International Geneva, while reflecting on the intergenerational dialogue that brought together 20 youth from Tamil Nadu, India with members of the Interfaith Council on Ethics Education for Children.

Reunión anual del Consejo Interreligioso: Impulsando la agenda de Educación Ética para Niños y Niñas

Como en años anteriores, el Consejo Interreligioso de Educación Ética para los Niños y Niñas celebró su reunión anual con el fin de ayudar a elaborar estrategias y formular recomendaciones para el próximo período. Esta vez, la reunión tuvo lugar del 10 al 14 de agosto de 2017 en Coimbatore, India, donde se encuentra la sede de Shanti Ashram, colaborador de larga data de Arigatou Internacional Ginebra.
