Over 70 delegates from 20 cities around the world have called for redoubling of efforts in reconciliation and peacebuilding for a peaceful, inclusive and a just world.

Designed to include the interfaith learning, peacebuilding and reconciliation, best practices from the participating cities were showcased during the Institute, including the Global Network of Religions for Children Education for Peace Programme currently being implemented in Dar es Salaam and Zanzibar, Tanzania. The African group at the gathering committed themselves to strengthen interfaith reconciliation and peacebuilding in Africa, promising to share information, human and other resources particularly in war-torn regions.
The delegates at the 2005 Goldin Institute for International Partnership and Peace were drawn from cities namely Dar es Salaam, Jerusalem, Sarajevo, Belgrade, Birmingham, Bogota, Kabul, Addis Ababa, Harare, Amritsar, Chicago, Manressa, Barcelona, London, New Delhi, Rio De Janeiro, Mexico, Mumbai, Kiev, Islamabad, Phnom Penh, Kitgum, Taiwan, Chennai, Toledo and others.
