Sarvodaya to lead Learning To Live Together workshop for Educators in Jakarta, Indonesia

Sarvodaya Movement, through the South Asian Secretariat of the Global Network of Religions for Children, has organized a training on ‘Learning To Live Together – Inter-cultural and Inter-faith Ethics Education Program for Children’ for 40 educators in Jakarta, Indonesia.Read more….

Organized in partnership with the National Commission for UNESCO in Indonesia and Arigatou International Geneva, the workshop will bring together a diverse group of educators to explore participatory approaches to ethics education. At this residential workshop is held at the Bumi Wiyata hotel in Jakarta from the 30th of November – 2nd December, 2012, the educators will experience an unique learning environment inline with the reflective approach of the Learning To Live Together program.

Prior to this, Sarvodaya has lead Learning to Live Together programs in Sri Lanka, India, Nepal and the Maldives including a regional workshop held in Sri Lanka in 2012 with participants from 9 different countries. This training workshop in Indonesia will be the first time a training on the Learning To Live Together program is formally run in South-East Asia.
