Session 1 – Welcome!
Dear Participants,
Welcome to the Online Course for Educators!
During this first session you will learn more about each other and the course, share about your context and realities, as well as the impact of COVID-19 on children, education and educators: the experiences, hope, challenges, fears or concerns you go through.
For this session we invite you to watch this introductory video, visit the faith in action virtual exhibition and to join the forum discussions below.
We look forward to your active participation through out this course. Remember to pace your course completion so that you are able to successfully complete the course within the two week period.

Certificate
The participants who wish to receive the certificate of completion of the course need to complete the following tasks in each session. Your contributions to forum discussions need to be substantial and building on course content and the contributions of other participants.
Session 1
Actively participate on the forum discussions to get to know each other, visit the virtual exhibition and share about your context.
Session 2
Go through the video and presentation, voices of children and actively participate on the forum discussions on the given case studies regarding the creation of Safe Learning Environments.
Session 3
Actively participate on the Live Webinar and on the online forum discussion about it.
Session 4
Go through the video, presentation, resources, join the live webinar and actively participate on the forum discussions.
Session 5
Go through the video and actively participate on the forum discussion
Session 6
Go through the video, actively participate on the forum discussions, share your reflections and take aways and complete the course evaluation form
Virtual Exhibition
Click on the poster to open the Faith in Action for Children Virtual Exhibition. Take time to listen to the voices of different stakeholders including children on the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on the lives of children worldwide. If you are interested to organise a virtual tour of the exhibition as a learning activity for the children you work with, you can find a resource for that in the TOOLBOX page of the course.
