International Network of Engaged Buddhists

The International Network of Engaged Buddhists (INEB), established in 1989 in Siam (Thailand), is a network platform for more than 25 countries around the world to engage in social action for a just, healthy and peaceful world.

INEB’s strategic roadmap for the next 10 years includes supporting the formation of an Asian Network of Buddhists for Child Protection. This network is comprised of countries in the Mekong sub-region that focuses on children’s rights and preventing violence against children. Grassroots efforts underway include a center on early childhood development and creating child-friendly monastic schools.
