Catholic Relief Services (CRS), is an international humanitarian agency which promotes integral human development by responding to major emergencies, fighting disease and poverty, and nurturing peaceful and just societies. CRS’ agency strategy investment is in Child Health and Wellbeing, benefiting children under the age of 18 by prioritizing interventions in early childhood development (ECD) and social service systems strengthening. Our ECD goal is for all young girls and boys to be protected and valued by family and community in an environment that enables them to thrive and grow. CRS promotes a holistic approach to child well-being, with a goal of not only saving lives, but also optimizing children’s physical-motor, social-emotional, and cognitive-language, and moral-spiritual development.
